This is the first comprehensive documentation of the works and ideas of Danny Lee, one of the most renowned contemporary sculptors of Hong Kong. Providing an overview of the last two decades, Sculpture of Reflections is richly illustrated and supplemented with critiques, quotations, references, travel memories and snapshots from the artist's life. Lee’s sculptures are informed by the essence of Chinese ink paintings.

Starting with the Landscape series, his works have evolved into those such as City, Dewdrop and Cloud as they drew references from seemingly insignificant aspects of life. With his rich material vocabulary, Lee transforms his subject matter into three-dimensional poetry. Lee is particularly adept at integrating his works into public spaces, allowing them to speak to us at the moment of encounter and open our hearts to introspection.
